Coral breaching surface

Hi everyone what do you do when a coral is breaching the surface the water. It is some sort of sinularia dont know the exact one.

time to make some frags, for these guys just cut them and use something to hold them to a frag plug. A ziptie or even rubber band can work

May be time to relocate to mid tank or propagate and plant at mid tank.
You want to cut at the base with a sharp razor blade at the very base - DO THIS IN A CONTAINER WITH TANK WATER to reduce toxins and run carbon in display for a couple of weeks after placing the fresh cut coral back into tank

I would personally ignore it as long as the tips of the coral remain wet. However my opinions in the hobby are often… Debatable :)

It's not bothering the coral so unless you just don't like how it looks I'd ignore it.

Otherwise, as others said, just amputate fingers and propagate it.

Issue is at the surface, its getting maximum light and possibly shading out other corals.
