Hi all. I just replaced my T5 with these. I grow sps, predominantly. I switched because of spectrum degradation, bulb changes yearly, heat and hopefully 30% power efficiency improvement. I’ll keep you posted as to how they perform. First impressions are that the spread is fantastic. They are heavy but waterproof and seem to be of great build quality. Mounting to 80/20 1” is a perfect fit. Controllability is easy with the CC App but I’ll probably move it over to Apex soon. Par numbers are similar to the old T5 set up at around 500 top of the rock work, 200 on the tank floor. Lights are 12.5” high and tank is 20” tall. Par is very consistent on the sides and ends, no hotspots. They are in acclimation mode for the next two weeks, with a 50% power starting point.

Keep ya posted. Thanks.

I will say, the CC Gen2’s have some big shoes to fill in the ATI Sunpowers place. Below is my 90gal in 2017 (1st reef) and 180 before I tore down 2 years ago. Thanks for looking.

I have about 85 acros and they are loving the switch so far. I started acclimation at 60% and intended to slowly ramp up to 100% but I stopped acclimation at 80%. Consumption has gone up since adding. Odd to me but...... Thanks for looking. Sorry for the dirty glass......

I've had my coral care up for less than a week, and I'm still in the acclimation period. When you say you stopped at 80%, do you mean max intensity?

Yes. Everything seems to be responding well at 80% max intensity. Keep in mind I have overlap as these fixtures are mounted about 1/8” apart. I will take peak photoperiod up higher as needed but so far so good.
