My 4' standard 90 gallon reef is cramped. I threw this tank up Nov 2014 and it's been through H E double L and back. Hard lessons I hope to put to good use with this new tank. Wish me luck!

Moving the livestock to a neighboring room has me stressing a bit. The new tank will only be 40' away so it should go smooth.

Here is the new to me 6' 180 gallon tank.

Mrs Raz would only give an enthusiast thumbs up if I did a few upgrades to the sunroom where the new tank will be sitting. First to come down was the popcorn ceiling. Lots is prep followed to ensure the prime and paint went on smooth. Carpet ripped up and travertine floor installed.

Some updates to post! Slow but sure I'm getting there. Installed a subpanel with 2-20amp circuits. Also a 30amp plug to easily plug a generator in as needed to supply the reef with power.

Stand complete. This will be covered with cherry with walnut accents. The panels will have magnets and pop right off with ease.

Last night I installed the overflow and started on the aquascape. I'm so glad I removed the two internal wiers. So much cleaner with the shadow overflow.
