Hey all,
I have recently unfortunately had my Australophyllia Wilsoni pass, followed by my Jack O Lantern and Acan. I have a feeling it’s my light which is an Aqua One Mariglo that comes with the Aqua One Minireef 215. I was going to get my mate’s AI blade off of him for $500 by paying it off $50 a week but he is still paying it off himself from the LFS so it wouldn’t be possible sadly. I also noticed somehow my ammonia is at 0.2ppm, nitrite at 2ppm and nitrates at 10ppm which is unusual since my ammonia usually sits at 0.10ppm, nitrite at 0ppm and nitrate between 10-20ppm. Is there anyone selling good aquarium lights for cheap prices that can be shipped to me in Queensland Australia or at a price where I can pay it off please? I’m desperate for a new light haha my corals will not do well without one.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have any other death in the tank like snails or fish? That spike in ammonia and grumpy corals tells more about a possible issue other than lighting.

Acans don’t need much light.

No fish or snail deaths, also the acan I moved it down to lower light and it died even faster
