Coral Eating Snail or False Alarm?

I bought an acro frag from my local fish shop today and found this guy in the bag. The shop has good procedures and is clean/well kept, so I figure most likely it is a "regular snail" from the cleanup crew in their main racetrack, but given the shadow of a doubt in my mind I figured I would reach out and see if anyone could ID before I add this frag to my display. It does appear to have some sort of trunk and doesn't look identical to anything else I already have.

Agree it is a dove snails, but I thought they are algae eaters. I have tons of lightning dove snails since they self reproduce. @ManWithAClam
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
