Does anyone know the best way to catch this fish without disrupting the base rock or sand bed. I'm afraid the parameters will spike. Then I'll have another problem to deal with.

Thanks!

you could set up a fish trap or if things get real desperate, a small barbless hook and line could work.

also, ime small sandbed disturbances won't release anything deadly into the water. i disturb my sand all the time with no nutrient issues whatsoever.

Have you ever used a small barbless hook to catch something in your tank?

no, i've never had to but plenty of other people have. a quick search for "barbless hook" on the forums pulls up a lot of posts with experiences and information if it's something you end up having to do.

I've had that thought for some time as a worst case scenario and would have never thought it actually has been done. Lol. Thanks for he advice. I go check out the forums now.
