Yesterday I found someone trying to get rid of a marine fish on Facebook marketplace, I got the fish and ID'd it and it was a blue lashed butterflyfish, it was still tiny, I brought it home and I put it in and I did not know that they were not reef safe, what should I do, it keeps nibbling at my frogspawn

Usually if someone is trying to get rid of a fish it is a problem in their tank. Did you ask why he was getting rid of it?

They said they couldn't take care of it anymore

You could take it to your local fish store and maybe get some store credit. I’m sure they have customers with Fowler tanks that would love to buy it.

well at least now you know to research the fish before you get it not after, now its your problem to find a new home for it . Put up adds like the other fellow did.
