As i was scraping off way to many years of accumulated coralline algae from my tank walls, i noticed all my corals elicited a feeding response after scrubbing for 15 mins. Anyone else notice this? Maybe it was all the bacteria and algae spores that where being put into the water that made the corals go into feeding mode.

I have noticed the second i put my hand in my tank and start moving things around my corals tend to get excited. Not sure if its just because things are getting stirred up but i usually start to see more tentacles after my hands hit the water for anything!

I usually see a pretty good response from my corals whenever I do maintenance on my tank- either scraping the sides, blowing off the rocks or stirring up the sandbed.
