The order went a bit wrong, I ordered a Kenya tree because they’re meant to be kinda forgiving, instead, what I believe got was a Sinularia? Now, it looked a lot better a few days ago, but it’s just gone down hill, I have asked my LFS (who identified it for me because I know it wasn’t a Kenya tree) and they said that the more flow and light the better, so it’s now a bit more inline with a power head, and higher up in the aquarium… and now it’s drooping and looking incredibly sad.
I only have a fluval EVO, so if it dies it’s gunna totally mess up my tank, but I’m also new enough to the hobby that I don’t know when something has the ability to recover, or whether it’s already dead… or even if this is normal for this kinda coral.
Any advice welcome, water parameters are:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: around 10
I haven’t yet got the other test kits
For further reference, GSP is open, as are all the zoas, and clowns are acting normal
