Any ideas on why my rock nem and hammer aren't opening up all the way? I've had the nem for almost 2 weeks and the hammer for a month both were happy and thriving until I went on vacation for 5 days. I came home to an algae covered tank. Did a 30% water change and it still isn't happy. All other coral are doing great (blasto, mushroom, and acan). There have been no sudden changes in levels either. Lights are 2 ai hydra 32's on from 9am-10pm.

As far as your hammer it’s just ticked but it will be fine. I wouldn’t worry mine do this from time to time and they always fluff back up in a few days. Cant speak for the rock flower but I’m sure it’s the same.

It may be nothing.
I keep mine pinned at 1400ppm or like I said, torches mostly don’t extend well.
When MG gets low, Alk and CA readings can be inaccurate and what your test kit for Alk is showing, may not be true.
I’d consider testing that.
