I picked this up for $20 at my lfs, I found it buried behind some other frags in their cheap section....did I get a good deal? it is beautiful, I believe is a blasto but if anyone could help me with identification of variety I'd appreciate.

That looks to me like a rock flower anemone, but I have no idea what color variation it is or what name it could be given to increase perceived value...
Edit: nevermind, I'm not too familiar with blastos, but it looks more like what you got after doing some research.

It looks quite nice, and I'd say you got a good deal if you are happy with it.

Ah I think I found it...literally called red and green blastomussa...Haha too obvious

Blasto usually come with some skeleton attached and I don't see any in your photo. Could be a anemone or maybe even a mushroom, but I don't know what type.

Thank you for your response, under this main polyp are three more on a very short "trunk." Definitely blasto, just more curious if there as a formal name, but I think it's just "red and green"
