Does anyone know what kind of coral this is? It was sold to me as a leather toadstool online but it is hard to the touch and has barely grown in a year anyone have any clue??

Yes I will post one tonight, it started as just the hard square on the drag plug with only a couple of spots where the polyps came out, it now has a bunch of spots where the polyps come out but the fingers are very small and pretty neon green, I can really tell a growth pattern on it cuz it’s barely grown maybe doubled in a year and a half😂 my parameters haven’t always been spot on though I just wanted a low maintenance soft coral tank so that could be part of the reason it’s barely growing or maybe I should move it to the top instead of the lower one third of the tank

Okay here is the best I could get under normal lighting, it’s polyps are very small but they are light green, the rest of the coral is a cream/tan color

+1 on Turbinaria, maybe something like reniformis or stellulata

I think you guys are right as well it looks like the second one you said just from a google search, is there any special care I need to give this guy bring in a low maintenance soft coral tank? He’s been through a lot of swings but still kicking just growing very slowly

Id just keep the coral lower in the tank, give it time to color up and grow. Turbinaria is usually pretty hardy👍
