I don't think it star polyps. I have some star polyps and those are like a sheet. Sorry for the bad picture but this actually has a hard body. Does that help any?

Is it A soft mat it's star polyps kinda looks like galaxea also if it's not a mat

This seems to be it based on pictures. Thank you. Do you know if there are any feeding requirements are does it just require light?

That's pretty. I thought it was dead a few weeks ago. It closed up and did not open for a couple of days. I just left it in my tank and within a couple of days it was back open. It's kind of an odd coral.

Yeah, it was a pretty coral when I had it... A dedicated rock somewhere in your DT would be quite a sight to see.. Don't let anybody tell you wrong... ;) GL.
