That was a Euphyllia, likely Euphyllia glabrescens, or torch coral. I say was because that is just a skeleton, looks like there's some tissue still on it I don't recommend putting that into an active system as you'd run a huge risk of spreading infection.
 
I really don't want to sound rude but it looks like a dead/bleached frogspawn or torch or candy cane coral
 
Thanks everyone, and no lol that doesnt seem rude. Im just posting this for a friend who got it from a friend. Ill tell her to trash it, unless you think its somehow savable, doesnt look like it at all
