Coral ideas

I know this isn’t much help but but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This is where you get to create that amazing masterpiece. I would research the types of corals I would want to keep. Then once you find a good idea, I would figure out how much light and flow that type of coral likes. Then I would start adding and create your reef. Maybe some torches?

That’s the thing. My mind has drawn a complete blank. My goal is to have primarily a LPS tank. I’ve never been a fan of torches so I’d like to steer clear of those.

Chalice and Micromusa cyphastrea and some Zoa near the bottom
I did add some Micromussa to the two circled areas in the below picture. Where would you add the chalices? More towards the top?

I’ve always been a big fan of frogspawn and hammers. I had a 60 head hammer at one time, it was massive and very mesmerizing.

I have this ultra orange hammer that I would love to see get that big. It’s a stunning coral.

You have a lot of tank to work with but when designing your reef you really need to visualize a year or two down the road as the corals fill in. Im a big fan of zoas in all those odd places where corals cant really be placed and grow. Little easy things like rock flower nems add color in odd places to and shrooms are easy in low light areas. Here is a before and after picture to give you an idea how to visualize your corals growing in and covering your rocks.
