I am slowly but surely getting my Waterbox INFINIA Reef 190.5 set up after my RedSea seem broke over the summer.
I finally have everything solved, but the Waterbox overflow and ReefMat are giving me trouble.
The ReefMat makes a loud washing machine noise. I can see the bubbles in the unit, but others seem to have them without noise. I tried redoing the connection to the drain line and reseating the rods at the base after looking at other posts, but no luck.
The drain line is separately somewhat loud. I suspect it is the corrugated tube provided for the ReefMat, but again I did not see other fixes to this problem.
It looks like the Waterbox overflow is known to be loud. I think I could fix the waterfall sound by letting water trickle into the emergency drain, but I do not love the idea of regularly flowing into the emergency drain, and I would need to lower the sump side to stop splashing. I originally set the sump side of the emergency drain high with the idea that I would want to hear splashing. In case it helps, there is large variation in the waterfall noise, and the overflow level does not seem to stay at a stable level.

Thank you so much for any ideas!
