Hey all, is anyone able to identify this coral?

Thanks in advance

So after researching brown button polyps, they do look like them.

Most people from what I have read recommend trashing them.

Is this recommended? Or can I keep them contained to the one rock if I isolate it?

Some people have also said these are toxic.
They look orange in full spectrum light and do look nice. I am adding a lot of corals over the next few months so if these would cause a problem then I would prefer to toss them. There are other corals that I prefer.

Again if I can safely keep them I would like to.

Thanks for your advice!

Personally I would get rid of it, they are ugly, and will spread very quickly. These will outgrow any other coral you will add.

They are a zoa or paly of some sort. All of these are possible to have palytoxin which if you are not care full or are sensitive to it can cause health issues. There are for sure better looking zoas and palys. Most will grow to cover the rocks they are on some more than others. You can keep them secluded on the rock they are on.

Yeah thanks. I’m too noob with corals to deal with them and their toxins
