A red planet as well came in the mail but is very drab dark brown even under actinics but is doing well with good polyp extension. Does any one know why it is not showing red?

If the red planet is brown it means it is stressed and not healthy. Keep parameters stable and give it plenty of flow and light. Dip and check for pests. It can take months to regain color.
