Any help would be appreciated. I bought two corals I found interesting and in colors I desired. However no one in the lfs knew what they where. It was late Sunday and the one very knowledgeable person I usually work with was out. Anyone know what these are?

1st sympodium?

2nd (Which appears very orange to the eye not so In this pic)

First looks like a JF Tubbs montipora. Second looks kinda like Mystic Sunset when it’s not extend or very young frag.

The first coral pictures aren't showing up for me, but the second looks like it could be a Leptastrea. Those colors look like it could be a John Deere Leptastrea if you want a trade name.

Thanks for the replies thus far. I see looking back that the first pics uploaded aren’t there. So really you are just looking at what I was trying to label #2. The pink one I thought I had figured as Setosa so didn’t call it #3 but now I’m wondering definitely looks like monti. Lights are off I will post the pics of what I think is sympodium in the morning. Thanks so much for trying to help.

I think you are on to something there. It does not look like cyphastrea I have or have had. It is looking like a Leptastrea to me. It is really bright orange to me eye. Hard to get the picture to show it.

Thanks so much everyone here are some with a little less blue. I’m awaiting the ramp up at mid day for more white.
Blue green I am thinking sympodium pink setosa ( it is more orange in white light)

A little hard to tell in the first picture. The polyps do look a little feathered, so if it is a soft coral then I think you are correct about it being a sympodium. Does it have a skeletal base when retracted? If it does, then it could be a galaxea (watch out for sweepers if it is). Although, I don't really see any mouths in the middle, so it probably isn't galaxea.

I think the setosa guess is correct for the other one.

Soft base on the supposed sympodium. I’m feeling pretty good about that identification.
