Just to show how important water flow and lighting is for people that don't know. I turned off all my water moving devices that made the surface move as it was impossible to get a mean Par reading so I could place my corals. I wanted to get a reading from the area I had them. They were mounted on a rack held on to the Aquarium with magnets Two racks one about 10 inches long and the other about eight they had a varied exposure to light and flow . So Remember these are LPS they usually go from low flow to medium flow , and same for lighting. The racks were placed side by side but the small one slightly deeper. The large one about 9 inches below the surface, The small about 11 . From left to right on the large one 15 150 110. The right 63 80 70 all coral were doing ok. I forgot to turn on the equipment again. 4 Hours later one of my corals looked like the end of a bone. Obviously I figured it wanted low light. I moved it about 4 feet away to that environment but figured it was a goner. Nope two hours later it was happy and thriving
