I was glueing my frogspawn down and this little star looking thing started crawling around out of my frogspawn. I quickly took it and threw it in an empty bucket with tweezers. This is what it looked like. (Not my picture) Does this hurt the coral/fish? And is this a scenario where if theres 1, theres 100s?

If you sterilize your tank you're going to have nothing but problems.
Corals evolved with those.
You're recreating the ocean in your tank.
Starfish aren't creepy. Maybe this hobby isn't for you.

I just thought it was like a bristle worm at first.

Oh no, those are actually creepy.
That guy got cut in half at some point and is regenerating his body parts. Super cool.
Bristle worms are almost always a good thing too, but definitely creepy.
