I cannot for the life of me get some of my frags to stick to the rocks long term either with super glue or epoxy puddy. My snails continue to bulldoze them over.

Any recommendations on how to prevent this?

I had a similar issue, and finally did the glue epoxy glue method and havent lost one since.

Frag Plug
Super Glue
Epoxy putty
Super Glue.

Give the plug enough epoxy to cover the base of your plug. if you dont have a plug, wrap the bottom of you frag in the epoxy after add glue to it.

If done right, youll snap the frag off before you break the epoxy off.

Personally I feel that putty is rather useless.

For the glue, are you cutting the stem off the plug, leaving only the flat part? How much glue do you put? I put a big blob of it.

The stem is off the plug and I am putting giant "blobs" or glue on the base and fixing to the rock and still the big snails somehow know the stem over...

Seriously as I used to have this issue. You want to apply an ample amount. I use seachem reef glue. Getting enough surface to surface contact is also key. I give mine a good amount. Then when I place on rocks I give them a twist motion to spread the glue better. Once you feel it clump almost. Then just apply some pressure and hold for a few seconds.

I stopped using putty. Mine slowly melts away after so many months. Either I am mixing it wrong or it sucks lol. Glue or marcos powder with glue has done me well.
