Hello All,

I’m getting a little bored battling Dinos and wanted to grab some input on coral placement. I placed this chalice in this spot at an angle to help avoid irritation from my yellow face goby dropping substrate. It seems to be doing very well and growing already although it is only a couple weeks new in this tank. Also curious on any ideas for the island rock I have on the right, I purposely left it separated just in case there was anything cool that should be separated from others. Here are some pics for reference, sorry for the heavy blues.

the chalice will grow mostly based on the flow around it so mounting it at an angle won't force it to continue to grow as such, it might turn and grow straight up, it might flatten out, it might grow down.......having enough flow to keep sand/detritus from accumulating on it helps keep you from having to constantly blow it off, it can be detrimental to the coral if left on it tho.
