I’ve posted something about this before but it looks worse. Does my leather have a disease or something? It looks like its melting or something.

Give it a iodine dip. Mine was starting to look the same way. It took a couple weeks but it bounced back.
Would i have to do an iodine dip? Never done a dip before and dont want to stress it more, would it be fine just leaving it be and doign water changes constantly, any idea whats causing it?

Water changes probably wont help. My parameters were good and mine still was showing signs of what I believe was a bacterial infection. A iodine dip will help. If you dont do anything its more than likely going to continue to decline. I would reccomend getting some Lugols iodine as soon as you can.

Would there be anything i can add to the whole tank instead of a dip?

Dont take this the wrong way but if you want to save it get some iodine. Period. If you dont it will die. Its that simple.

Mine has a base the size of a soda can. I had to dip it in a 5 gallon bucket. Its not splitting. Its a bacterial infection.
