Coral reef tank help

M husband got a 150 gallon tank about 2 months ago. He got it set up and running and then transferred all my corals and rock to that tank from my 60 gallon. Since then my corals have been doing bad or just staying closed up. I have checked parameters with the test kits and they all are in range. I bought the test kit for mag, alk, cal, and it was good and salt is fine. My long tentacle anemone has stayed retracted for about 2 weeks now. He’s alive and moves around , I feed him , my zombie anemone he is fine no issues and my bubble tip is fine also.

Did you change your lighting? Some of the corals appear bleached out.

There was a different light to the one I originally had on them. I had a schedule on them and then the one he did have there was no set schedule or anything. But now I have the same light and schedule back on them

Maybe they were getting too much light. Bleaching and retraction are a sign of too much light. How long did you have the lights on without a schedule? How long since you changed them back to a schedule? Do you have a PAR meter?

It's helpful if you could post your parameters. There's enough misinformation in this hobby that one persons "in range" may not be the same as another's "in range", so to speak.

After parameters it's lighting and flow. One of those three things is typically the culprit.

My husband would turn it on about 10am and turn them off about 9pm… now have my AI lights back on them and on their schedule. I wanna say he had that big light on them for possibly two weeks

can mix up the tests and show them. The flow I try to hit them gently

No PAR meter I can get one though.
