What corals do you give extra space and why ie torches due to sting?

For your average coral, what distance do you place between 2 frags?

I give all corals space unless they are related and can't sting eachother. The distance depends on the individual. Corals sting eachother as a means to provide space for themselves. Reefs are highly dense structures where space is limited and competition is high. Corals need to fight for space.

SO for 2 fast growing acros that your planning to put next to eachother, 4 inches?

I can't really say for acros since I don't keep those in my personal tank. I saw another thread recommend 6 inches apart for acros which would make sense given my current SPS warefare going on lol. It really comes down to how much space you have in the tank and how many corals you are going to add
