Hi all,

I noticed some marking on the outer left edge of my letposeris. It has grown close to my Goniopora.
-Is the Goniopora stinging my Leptoseris?
-if so Will this affect the rest of my Leptoseris?
-Is there anything I should be doing.

I will attach pictures.

Any advice appreciated.

Thank you.

Yup, looks like they're fighting. The parts that the goni touch will die off, the rest thats growing away will be fine. It shouldn't kill the whole coral. If the goni is still on a frag plug you could try moving it farther away.

It’s grown beyond the frag plug.

goni's have strong stings, and I find red goni's have stronger stings. I would move the lepto before its gone.

Hmm. Wow. The lepto is encrusted onto the rock way past the frag plug. .

The second pic is the original frag.

I wonder if cutting the lepto back (on the left side) would provide enough space while still allowing it to grow to the right.
