Show off your coral's growth with some before and after pictures!

This Leptoseris was one of my first corals I put in my 75 when I set it up about three to four years ago. It's gone through a few ups and downs but it's survived and I'm super proud of it. I don't have a picture of when it was first added in but you can see where it's grown over the original frag plug and onto the rock.

I'm a huge fan of before and after photos. I tell people all the time that a camera is valuable piece of reef equipment. We lie to ourselves about how things are growing or not growing. Its not intentional, but we all do it.

Here's Pavona and Lithophillon after about 6 years. Three frags of the pavona and 1 frag of the Lithophillon were attached to the overflow at the same time.

Have you done anything special to get it to grow?

I realize I never responded to this comment, sorry about that. Nothing too special aside from regular dosing, and dosing trace elements once a week as well. It was one of my first coral frags I bought and I'm super happy it's still alive and thriving. I actually recently trimmed and fragged the edges and the thickness of it surprised me, some areas were over almost 2 mm thick.

AEFW took out the mini colony of RR Robin Hood I had grown. This is what had encrusted on my reef and was leftover after I pulled the colony sometime back in April/May I believe.

This is where it was at Sept 3, which is the most recent photo I have of it. It’s shot up even more in this past month
