Cheers lavey29 Are sps not classed as filter feeders ?
Sure different varieties of corals are filter feeders. I just don't believe that they consume film algae from the glass per se. If corals in your tank consumed film algae then we probably would not need to clean our glass very often because it would be consumed in the water column before adhering to the glass. I do think corals consume phytoplankton though and I dose it daily.Cheers lavey29 Are sps not classed as filter feeders ?

That's what I kind of thought, after all they take reef roids which has no particular taste ,attractant to them ,if you have a bit when your cleaning the glass have a nosey at the particles given off ..I'm going to go with a yes for it ha haCorals may well use it if the algae coming off is a suitable particle size for them.
