I am New to the hobby, and I have just been researching and whatnot, and my tank is nowhere needing coral yet. But I was reading the BRS forum about beginner coral. In your guy's opinion, is this true, and would it be perfect for a 13.5 tank? Thanks

Softies are great first introductions when nitrate and phosphate are stable.

But many grow very fast and crowd a small tank, so be choosy.

Zoa are soft, small and some very colourful, maybe a thought.

In Contrast, a leather would over shadow everything.

Your tank is ready for softies, when chemistry stabilizes and ugliest diminishing.

Your tank is ready for SPS when you can keep Alk, CA and MG stable.

Thanks. Where I get really confused is dosing. To be honest there is a lot more to this hobby than I thought. Definitely overwhelming. I do like a challenge and I am on board but, dang I have slot to read
