I tested water params and all in check. Any suggestions on what would cause these corals to look weak. Also you will see on the rock on one of the photos there is black coloring any idea what is that.

Low nutrients can cause corals to look 'weak', lighting and flow will factor in as well.

Please post your parameters (cal, alk, mag, nitrates, phosphates).

What lights do you have and at what intensity?

Looks like a pretty new tank! As asked above, would be best to post your Nitrates, Phosphates, Calcium, Alkalinity.... also your salinity level, temp range and PH...type of lighting...

All of these will help the experts here help you.

Has anything changed recently? Yes please post water parameters, lighting, water changes and anything new or that has been changed. Do you have fish in there? Do you feed your corals?

Time to dose po4 and no3. Fading is when coral have less dense zooxantheale thus they look weak or bleached. Increased no3 and po4 will increase their zoox density and thus color.
