Corals on back wall

I would like to have some corals on the back wall of my tank. I'm looking at GSPs or montiporas (encrusting and plating), how do I go about doing this and will water changes have any ill effects on the corals on the wall as they will be out of water for a while.

I am going to try this myself once my new tank gets set up. I think you just glue a frag to the back of the glass.
