Hey everyone, I have a green clove polyp frag that’s currently in bad shape due to bubble algae popping up on the frag plug. Normally, I just take the plug out and scrape it off and the coral recovers. This time it appears I may have damaged it by scraping off some of the bubble algae. Most of the polyps are retracted, and there appears to be some melting now. I’ve read back-and-forth discussions about peroxide dip on clove polyps, and was hoping somebody can tell me the correct solution mixture and correct time to dip. All in all the correct way to do it. I think I’m about to lose this frag.

I doubt that peroxide dip will eradicate bubble algae due to its tough membrane.

When I use a peroxide dip:
10% solution of 3% peroxide for 10 minutes.

Thanks for the reply. At this point Im contemplating just throwing the entire frag out and getting a different one. I’ve been dealing with bubble algae popping up on this thing for months.
