I need to add sand to my tank. I am unable to remove the Corys , I have nothing to put them in. How can I do it without hurting my Corys

It sounds like you have a freshwater tank. Is there are reason that you can't add the sand with the corys in the tank? You can always use a 5 gallon bucket and if you plan on keeping them in there for more than an hour then you can add an air stone.

Does the tank not have any substrate?

If you rinse the new sand really well, you can add in small amounts dumping through a PVC pipe.
