Could this be a pest on my astrea snail?

I say this thing on my snail the day i got it, thought it was a part of the snail's body. Is it?

on the bottom of its body there are 3 little balls connected to a tail like thing

Honestly have no idea. You could try removing the snail and lightly brushing it off with a toothbrush in a small container of saltwater.
