Still trying to figure out how to take decent top down pics without lights getting in the way lol. I am guessing an external light source is needed? Anyways, here are some of my larger colonies with unedited pics. I shut off the 4 T5s hoping to eliminate at least some of the light reflections.

It's amazing how clean your tank is. Mine is bare bottom but no matter how often I vac the detritus keep piling up

Very nice indeed! Such an underappreciated way to view your tank! :star-struck:

I assume you are just going the AB+ route with the G5 blue?

Very nice pics and crazy growth man! porps!
The Radions are G6 Pros, but yeah, they are mainly running blues. The T5s add a bunch of white to balance it out. Thanks :)

What works for me is that I have two MP40s sitting on the bottom, back wall pointed towards the front. They keep everything off the bottom and push up detritus against the front glass and into the overflow.

Get an avast porthole or something similar you can use to take top down pictures. You have some awesome colonies.
Thanks......I do have the Avast porthole but it only allows me to take individual colony pictures rather than whole tank shots. A lot of the pics on my build thread were actually taken with that.
