I think I've seen some folks discussing AFR takes a bit before it starts showing results. Can you tell me how your dosing or what you seen before you started seeing changes in dkh?
Also I'm not really digging the dose instructions. 5ml per 26 gallons until you reach desired dkh of 7-9.
Can you tell me if there is a more precise dose regimen you follow to get exact numbers?
For example x ml per in x amount of gallons will achieve x amount of dkh?

Last question. What are your cal and mag numbers at what dkh are you running?

Thanks in advance

Great questions and I want to know as well, I've been wanting to try it ;)

Also for those AFR users....I've read some reports of the solution needing to be kept stirred like kalkwasser or it separates and iron and other elements get overdosed...is this true?

@LRT is knocking on the doorstep of tank explosion!!!

Get a baseline, use the recommended dose, then test daily. It takes about two or three days before the alk shows up but you’re safe at that initial dosage. Get a reading after you start dosing and increase or decrease the dosage. My 65 gallon uses 40 ml a day to keep my dkh at 8.2, but I am SPS heavy and supplement with kalk. Depending on your bio load you might not need as much as you think.

I haven’t had any issues but I go through 1000 ml in about 25 days. I’ve been using it for over a year now.

@MERKEY you brought up great point. I have seen folks post about needing to keep it stirred or they end up with residue in bottom of container.
I haven't seen reports on over dosing iron and such but it makes perfect sense.
Has anyone had issues with elements separating and either not dosing enough or overdosing particular elements?

The mix does mix up to an off white, dirtier tan color. Im going to check how it looks in the bottle tonight now to see if it settled to bottom.

Lost my post about bringing water to just below boiling point while mixing the All for Reef and it mixed well. Jist thought I'd reiterate that haha
