CPR overflo

hello everyone does anyone have a idea for a alternative for aqua lifter pumps on a cpr overflow so far i go thru one every year or less was hoping to have a backup or improved way of keeping the siphon going

I have the same problem with one on a freshwater tank.....Never again!!! I'm only going to use tube siphons from now on.

I hope someone has a good idea

wish i would went a different route to late now. internet search found someone put a maxijet in the sump and ran the venturi line to the overflow.

I also tried that it kinda worked but failed when you turned off the power or when your doing a water change and the level drops. It just didn't have the draw of the aqua lifter. I was thinking the next time the aqualifter goes I'm going to get a parastalic pump from amazon they are cheaper and more reliable but they are kinda loud if you turn them up high.

I ordered one will have it monday. I also got 2 back up lifter pumps always prepared for the worst.
