I’m no help with the id, but it could just be a molt and the live crab may still be in your tank.

Hey small probably about 1/2"

No this was def the full dead crab, I found a few more before this was found

What sort of corals do you have? It might be some sort of acro crab or just a little reef crab that came in on a coral or a piece of liverock.
