@Crabs McJones I noticed you used those dark grey pvc pieces. I like the idea of darker hides, and suppose it might feel more natural to the fish. you like them better than the white pvc? Has it made a difference?
I don't know that it makes a difference. I just had these in my supply leftover from the 75 build. I like the grey connectors over the white connectors for plumbing aesthetics:)

What you running for pumps, skimmer, lights, filter etc...? in the QT...
Hob filter, hydor powerhead and that's it. No skimmer, for lights just the ambient light from the lights in my basement. Weekly water changes and a big ol bottle of biospira and an ammonia badge. They're currently going through copper power at 2.0 ppm

Ill check it out. Thanks. I needed somewhere to start.
I found some KAMOER PUMPS for sale, if you are interested.
Also, some great info from BRS on calcium reactors if you have one or are thinking about getting one.
https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/calcium-reactor-avg-ph-at-different-rates-investigation.615512/
I would appreciate any feedback on that thread if you get a chance to look at it.
I dont have any experience with calc reactors unfortunately. Still dosing my 2 part :)

you should consider the upgrade, I made the change and it is awesome. I can go on vacation and keep near perfect alk cal. and mag.
if you know anyone with a calcium reactor, please let them know about the pumps for sale. I am only going to do it for the next couple weeks probably.
these KAMOER pumps are in high demand and no one can seem to get them in stock. but I can get them.

anyways, how much 2 part are you using. When I calculated how much 2 part I was going through, and the price, I immediately went on the hunt for a calcium reactor.
expensive to start but cheap in the long run.
