Trying to catch up with all the posts! Haha.

New tank looks great!

I’m likely moving to a new place in the near future and am looking into upgrading tanks during the move. Figured it would be a good time since I need to drain the current tank anyways!

Did you have any mini cycles switching tanks with the new sand and new rocks?

Any lessons learned or words of advice?

No mini cycles. Everything is settling in great!
Best advice I can give you is to get as many helping hands as possible. I did this with just myself and my brother in law and it was quite the challenge. Also storage bins work great for transporting! I got a couple of them from menards (just make sure they're marked recycleable with a 4 or 5 inside the triangle this indicated food safe) Theyre big enough to spread out your rockwork so corals aren't clashing into each other. Filled them up with rock and just enough water to keep the corals covered. Brother in law grabbed one handle, I grabbed the other, and into the back of the truck they went.

One of these days I'm going to go through and catalog all my fish and coral for you guys. Fish may be hard as the little buggers never stop moving to take a picture lol

Maybe I missed it but what did you end up doing for lighting? Did you reuse your MH
Nope, I sold the MH. It was a three foot single halide bulb fixture. Wouldnt have been enough for the 75. I ended up going with two AI Hydra 26's and the Aquatic Life T5 hybrid fixture with 4 ATI blue+ bulbs. Been considering throwing a third hydra in there, but not sure if I want to or not.
