Really curious to be honest. I've been contemplating tearing my tank apart as well. Been fighting dinos for the better part of 14 months. Here's where I am today,

Have you tried a UV? Or the elegant corals treatment ?

I do have a uv running. It took care of the ostreopsis but now I have coolia. I just started blowing them into the water column at night 2 days ago. That seems to be helping. Been thinking of pulling the sand out and rinsing it very well and replacing it as that seems to be the most affected. Keep bottoming out on no3 and po4 as well, so I've been dosing each daily.

I suppose you are getting help in the dino thread? I added a UV, pulled my sand about 90%, stopped skimming & gfo. And od’d nitrate. Oops. The dino on the rocks has been gone a for a few months even with the UV off. The amphidinium had a few spots still so I am doing the elegant corals plan and so far it seems to be working. Good luck to you.

I'll have to read up on the elegant corals plan.

Well I made it home safe from RAP. Had so much fun meeting tons of people. Picked up a couple things. Will post more as it comes together!
