Crack or Scratch (New Waterbox)

Purchased a new Infinia Reef 150.4 last year through the back order and getting the area prepped for the install I finally was able to get around to starting to get everything setup. Got the tank in place on the stand and was getting ready to start working on the plumbing when I noticed this (attached pics). Whats your thoughts crack or scratch?

I can feel it when I run my fingernail across it. It was delivered in the fall and I inspected it at the time of delivery, but you don't notice it when its sitting on something with a backer (IE on the pallet in the shipping crate) it only became noticeable once I was able to see through it. I feel if its a crack it should fall as a manufacture defect from drilling the hole and not damage from shipping. But thats just my opinion

I think it’s a crack because you can see it in the inner circle of the drilled hole.

I would bring it to the attention of the manufacturer.

Thats what I was looking at initially as well and thinking the same thing.. I did just run a rag around the inside of the hole and it appears that mark came off, so maybe it was coincidental it was there (attached pic)

Are there two holes with matching marks? Looking I'm not sure if two or if one is a reflection. If two it would be odd to have two perfectly straight cracks aligned like those. Have you tried cleaning the two lines like you did the hole?

Your seeing a reflection inside the overflow box, so just one hole like that. I did try cleaning that spot as well, it remains the same..

I can just feel it on the top side when I run my nail across it, not on the bottom side of the glass. Its 1/2" thick glass

I dont see it as a risk and you should contact manufacturer anyway to at minimum have it documented
