I'm looking at ordering a Crispa from LA, and am deciding if I want the M tan or the M blue tip. Are they both the same anemone just one bleached? Does the tan one have the blue tips?

Healthy Blue-tipped H.Crispa's are not white, they are creamier colored. Live Aquaria's Blue-tipped Crispa's aren't typically bleached, they're creamy. Tan H.Crispa's are just tan...no blue tips, and in my experience their tentacles are a bit longer. Yellow H. Crispa's have been dyed. Dye = Die. In captivity H.Crispa's are easy to stress and slow to recover, especially without a clownfish.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking for a second nem to go along with my Ritteri and complete my tank scape. I think ill go with the blue tip. I just didn't hant to have to go through all the hassle of getting it to color up when I could buy a unbleached one the same size cheaper but wasn't sure if it had the blue tips

I ordered the blue tip we will see what it looks like when it comes in on Tuesday. Its a Medium 3-4" I just hope it dosen't look like the ones we get here that are short stubby tentacles and bleached whiter than snow
