It's nighttime for my reef and I just noticed these little oval shaped inverts coming out of the sand along the glass. They are roughly a cm long.

Thanks in advance!

Can you use the flash or a flashlight to get a white picture ?

I have 1 Chiton that I received as a hitchhiker on a frag. He has done some work on hair algae.

Does anybody sell these? I like them. Apparently, so do my crabs...

The way it curled up in your hand I would say that is a type of Isopod.
Look at the end of the little pill bug on the top and see if it has two black dots for eyes.
Google Sphaeomatids Isopod and do some reading then look at some pictures.
Do not get freaked out though from reading as the ones that are known to curl up like the doodle bugs on land are known to be harmless algae grazers in our reef tanks and NOT parasitic
