Crocea clam gaping? Shell not fully connected

The bottom part of my crocea clam shell isn’t connected and there’s quite a bit of gap between the left and right side of its shell.

Is this considered gaping?

P.S: Mantle still opens up and it is still reacting quickly.

That's reassuring to hear. I couldn't find any photos online that showed a crocea clam or any other clam from the bottom. Most photos are top down.
