Local reefer is selling a smaller male crosshatch and I’m tempted. Should i lay down until the temptation goes away? Triggers are a fish group I’ve never kept. I have plenty of swimming room, but also lots of tank mates. Experiences with this fish appreciated.

They are extremely mellow, peaceful fish unless you have two that are the same size. With only one you wouldn't have that problem though. Won't bother corals, inverts or smaller fish. Could be shy at first

Peaceful from what I know and see at my LFS. On par with blue throat or redtail.

Sorry, that's is about the only chrysiptera that I have not kept ….. though not for lack of trying. Just cannot find them (well, other than for $$ on DD).

There are a few people that I've heard from, that had to rehome their CH triggers that eventually decided to 'eliminate' tank mates!
