That time of the year is quickly approaching... time to save those pennies! The 2013 FFM will be held on March 9th at E.O. Smith High School in Storrs, CT. Can't wait!! I got my start here last year. John gave me a great deal on a used aqua c remora while I was there and I got to speak to a ton of people and and learned a great deal. I couldn't buy any frags though as my tank was not set up yet. Tank has been up and running ever since and I am looking forward to taking advantage of the the selection and deals to be had this year. If you have not been to this and are in the area, you need to go!!!!! 1smile1

I went last year for the first time and I liked it. I bought a bunch of frags and got some free chaeto. Super crowded but pretty cool either way.

The list is already up over 20 vendors for the event, which is way up from last year. If anyone is interested in setting up for the day, let me know soon before I run out of spaces! The good news is that I spread the event out to another room so it should be a bit less crowded, but it also grows each year so....

Great to hear! Spread the word about it in your area and make sure to stop by and introduce yourself when you are down. You won't be dissapointed at the event, even with the ride. If you know anyone who wants to come down to sell, have them get in touch with me, even if you want to all go in and split a tank!

"It is official, there are now 30 "vendors" paid in and signed up for spots. It looks like I may actually run out of spaces this year... I may have to give up my front desk! If any of the local guys were hoping to set-up a tank this year, let me know soon so I have a space for you!
I also thought I would drop a bit more teaser info...
-Some new guy named Jason Foxx will be there with some of his SICK stuff.
-I got a nice small box from Apogee the other day, but it looks like it might be the gem of the raffle, just don't lose your tickets if you win...
-Sustainable Aquatics has opted not to support the FFM this year but I replaced them with someone better. Sorren from Sea and Reef will be donating some SWEET designer tank bred clown pairs.

FFM is now up to 38 people selling corals and that does not even count the true vendors coming just to show off their stuff! This year's Frag Farmer's is going to be bigger and better than ever!!!

I will still be mixing water to make up the few gallons I will still need but they really have supported the FFM and my project from the start and I owe them big time! They may also have sent up a bit of Purple-up. Come early it disappears FAST!!!
Also thanks to [size=10pt]SeaChem [/size] for offering to provide Reef Dip for people to take home and use for the frags that they pick up. I will have a number of "vials" of it available that day. Grab one and be safe!
