CTARS FRAGTOBERFEST!!! October 15, 2016

I'm very excited to announce the first annual CTARS Fragtoberfest!! The BOD has been hard at work planing a new event for this October. CTARS will be hosting a large frag swap/sale which vendors and hobbyists alike can come together, buy and sell corals, talk reef and learn from one another, and take part in an awesome raffle. We have already begun getting donations for the raffle and we will post teaser updates as the months go by (we already have an amazing grand prize that we will announce in the near future ) . The event will take place October 15, 2016 at the Rodeway Inn in East Windsor CT. We have reserved a block of rooms for those who would like to stay over on Friday at a very reasonable rate of $65! Set up will be available Friday night. Mark your calendars, this is going to be awesome!!

Ticki tocki ticki tocki frag frag frag!

That’s right, Fragtoberfest, 10/15/2016, is just a month away and we would love to have you there.

Connecticut Area Reef Society is working hard to make sure that this is a great event both for our members as well as the vendors.

We have secured a great location in East Windsor CT that promises to bring hobbyists from all over New England. The hotel has granted us a block of rooms for the vendors and we have secured an early set up starting at 5pm Friday night.

We have taken a step back from the traditional conference and have adopted a more frag-centric approach. As such we have lowered the prices for both vendors as well as hobbyists alike. The table charge is $50 and the entrance fee is only $5.

We are already started promoting this within the club as well as surrounding reef groups.

Alex's Advanced Aquatics donated a Sicce Voyager Powerhead and some fish food.
