My reef tank is now a couple months old and I’m starting to see some diatom growth on the rocks and sandbed. I picked up 2 trochus snails yesterday and would like to add a good mix of critters to clean up the algae and detritus.

Any recommendations? I’m thinking 3 cerith snails, a couple scarlet hermits, a banded cleaner shrimp, and an emerald crab. How does that sound? Also any feedback on my coral placement would be appreciated. The centre rock and empty rock to the right I plan on filling in with blastos, acans and maybe a chalice coral. Thanks

Personally I wouldn't go with crabs or shrimp just yet. I like to wait until the tank has been established a bit longer before getting them. How large is your tank, and do you have any fish?
